The RIAM archives include over 200 programs from Riverside International Raceway. You can now view the entire contents of most programs from the first race in 1957 through the last professional event, the 1988 SCORE Off Road World Championship. We will be soon be adding program contents for Club racing, OMS, Long Beach and more, so check back often. If you would like to help support RIAM's efforts to bring you more racing history you can donate programs and other items, or become a museum member.

The Riverside International Automotive Museum is pleased to announce its new photo archives. The new archives will allow you to access more photos in an easier to use format. We will also have a regular Featured Driver. Our featured "driver" this week is actually a featured photographer, Gordon Chittenden and his never before seen work at the 1962 6 Hour Enduro at Riverside.

New Gurney Eagle arrives at RIAM

Now on display at the Riverside International Automotive Museum
The 1972 Olsonite Gurney Eagle Indy car.
In 1972, this was the fastest Indy car money could buy. In 2010, it is a tribute to Dan Gurney and the team of capable people he assembled to engineer, manufacture and win races with this terrific machine.
The owner of the car, Philippe de Lespinay delivered the Eagle to RIAM on July 1 for display and can be seen at the museum during regular hours. Learn more about this car at Philippe's web-site http://www.tsrfcars.com/toys-full_size_eagle.htm
While you are there be sure to have a look at the rest of Philippe's collection, which includes the most incredible toy cars you will see anywhere.

Adamowicz Wins F5000 Championship!

Tony Adamowicz takes the win at Road America (William Hauser photo)

Tony "a2z" Adamowicz has clinched the 2011 Formula F5000 Championship driving RIAM's 1969 Formula 5000 Eagle. It was more than a bit of de javu for Tony, as he won the SCCA's F5000 Championship in 1969 in this very same race car. In fact, Tony has been the only one to drive this car... ever!

Highlights of the 2011 season include 2 overall wins and a class win. Tony nearly had the championship locked up mid-season.
